The crop of the ring is an important food crop for humans and animals where the seeds are used in food

In view of the current expansion of land reclamation in Egypt, this crop is used as a green fertilizer to increase fertility of newly reclaimed soil, as it increases organic matter and nitrogen in the soil and thus improves its natural, chemical and biological properties.

 Suitable land:

The cultivation of the ring crop in the sandy and heavy clay fields is good drainage and ventilation, as well as the cultivation of Hilla in the newly reclaimed sandy land, and not to cultivate in the saline and poor areas of drainage and ventilation.

  Date of Agriculture:
